Forspoken Prequel-DLC In Tanta We Trust Shows New Character in First Gameplay Trailer
Today, Square Enix has released the first trailer for Forspoken‘s first DLC, In Tanta We Trust which was announced earlier this year. Set 25 years prior to the original game, the DLC will not only feature the game’s main protagonist Frey Holland, but also introduce a new character with a different set of magical abilities.
The trailer focusses on the titular heroine Tanta Cinta and her powers and shows her alongside Frey in her continued efforts to save Athia – and Frey herself. While the DLC takes place in the past, it acts as a continuation of the story by having Frey travel back in time to explore what lies behind the corruption of Athia’s world.
In Tanta We Trust is set to release on May 26 on PlayStation 5 and PC. Owners of the Digital Deluxe Edition of Forspoken can play the DLC three days early on May 23.
