Marvel's Avengers War Table Shows New Gameplay, Reveals Main Villain
Today, Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics presented their Marvel’s Avengers War Table stream which showed new trailers and footage of gameplay.
Gameplay of a new Thor focused mission “Once an Avenger” was shown today, showing the god of thunder in his Donald Blake outfit as he assists the other Avengers in their fight against A.I.M. In addition, a new trailer gave us our first look at the game’s main villain, M.O.D.O.K. The stream also gave us a closer look at character progression and its War Zones multiplayer mode.
Square Enix has also announced that player’s that own Marvel’s Avengers on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will be able to upgrade to next-generation platforms for free. Additionally, there will be cross-play between PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, and between Xbox One and Xbox Series X.
Marvel’s Avengers will release on September 4 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC (Steam) and Stadia.
